Corporate Social Responsibility

FORLIFE focuses on regionality, sustainability and social awareness along the entire value chain!
FORLIFE and its partner companies rely on close cooperation with care professionals in order to provide users and customers with high-quality medical products. We consciously work with partners from Germany and Europe. Our suppliers are certified and meet the highest standards in terms of safety and quality. By manufacturing in Germany using state-of-the-art production technologies, we guarantee consistently high product quality. We also attach great importance to sustainable waste management in order to conserve resources and protect the environment.

Social Responsibility

As a conscientious company, we attach particular importance to ethical, legally compliant and sustainable behavior. For this reason, we have introduced two mandatory guidelines that determine our daily actions and our cooperation with partners and suppliers. Our Code of Conduct sets the principles for ethical behavior, integrity, fairness and compliance with the law in our company. The supplementary Code of Sustainability commits us to ecological, social and economic responsibility – both internally and along our supply chain.

Satisfied, healthy and committed employees are also a basis for sustainable success and for a working culture that is characterized by respect, trust and development. That is why we are actively committed to the well-being of our teams – through:

• fair working conditions and transparent communication
• flexible working time models and home office options
• health promotion offerings
• individual training and personal development

Sustainability

FORLIFE implements concrete measures for greater sustainability – with measurable success: our production and logistics now work entirely with green electricity and thus make an active contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and energy consumption.

When selecting our suppliers, we pay attention to short distances and a clear source. The majority come from European countries. Furthermore, our requirements for supplier selection and evaluation are based on the German Supply Chain Sustainability Act (LkSG). This ensures that companies in Germany meet their human rights and environmental responsibilities in global supply chains.

In 2020, we moved into one of the most sustainable buildings in Germany. The “Curve” was awarded with the BREEAM Excellence Award – in recognition of exemplary energy efficiency and environmentally conscious construction. *

*BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is the world's oldest and most widely used assessment system for sustainable buildings.

We also have our commitment assessed by Ecovadis. EcoVadis assesses the sustainability performance of companies based on 21 criteria in four areas:

• Environment (e.g. energy consumption, emissions, waste management)
• Labor and human rights (e.g. occupational safety, equal treatment)
• Ethics (e.g. corruption prevention, data protection)
• Sustainable procurement

Further facts & figures:
• 40% of our waste is recycled
• 90% of our packaging is recyclable

Digitalisation

For FORLIFE, digitalization is more than just technical progress - it is a central component of our social responsibility. We use digital solutions to make processes more efficient, transparent and sustainable – for our employees, partners and especially for our users.

Accessibility is a key component of our digital responsibility. Our website has been developed entirely in accordance with the requirements of the German Accessibility Improvement Act (BFSG). This ensures that all people – regardless of physical or cognitive limitations – can use our digital content without restriction.

We also focus on transparency and responsibility along our supply chain. As a member of the Sedex platform (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange), we use digital tools to visualize and continuously improve compliance with ethical, social and environmental standards.
